McHenry Single Malt Whisky Release 36 Aphrodite 42% 500ml

Distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2023, this Tasmanian Single Malt whisky has 42% ABV and also spent 5 years in a 100L American Oak Ex Hillrock Bourbon Barrel before being finished in a French Oak blood tub to create a stronger taste and a softer finish. In total, this whiskey is a 9-year-old vintage.

Nose: Rich nutty nose with raisins and melting sugar.

Palate: Light sweet almost floral caramel that just glides over the palate.

Finish: Flavours just fly around your mouth and leave a light lingering bright sweetness to finish.
